Highways are Cleaned all year round in Kocaeli

Situated within the requirements of the position Kocaeli, Turkey's busiest routes and E-100 and the cleaning is done by the Metropolitan Municipality of the D-130 highway. While the cleaning of the highways on the main routes of the city is of great importance, Metropolitan Municipality teams clean the sides of the D-100, D-130, side roads, main streets and crossroads throughout the year, day and night. The work ensures that the roads remain clean and citizens travel in a clean environment.

THE ROADS CLEAN UP TO THE PROVINCE BORDER

The park and gardens department teams, who do road cleaning, carry out their works day and night. The teams consisting of 15 vehicles and 18 personnel clean the roads, junction and other materials on the sides of the D-100 highway from the Sakarya provincial border to the Istanbul provincial border with broom vehicles. In addition, the teams carry out road cleaning work at the D-130 highway from Izmit to Yalova and the road connected to the highway and intersections.

CLEANINGS MADE BY ROAD SAFETY

Since there is traffic intensity on the D-100 and D-130 highways during the daytime, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality teams clean the left side of the road at night. As part of the security measure during the day and night cleaning works, the broom vehicle is accompanied by a security vehicle with warning lights on it. With the cleaning work carried out throughout the year, the roads are kept clean and their citizens are satisfied.
