Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has launched a survey for the name of the ferry with a car it has launched to expand its İZDENİZ fleet in the past weeks.
Aiming to increase the share of maritime transportation in urban transportation, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality launched the first of two new car ferries to be put into service this year with a ceremony held in Tuzla, Istanbul. Planning to add six more ships to its fleet in 2021 and 2022, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has included adding eight new ships to its fleet by 2023, together with two ferries to be put into service this year.
