Erzincan residents will no longer get cold at bus stops

Air-conditioned closed stops put into practice by Erzincan Municipality have been made available to citizens in various parts of the city.

The newly built comfortable bus stop on Halit Pasha Street was put into service. Air-conditioned stops attract attention from citizens. Erzincan Mayor Bekir Aksun, together with the Deputy Mayor and MHP Council Members, examined the newly built stops. President Aksun, in a statement to journalists, said, “We made such a promise to our citizens before the election. Our citizens stated that air-conditioned stops should now be in Erzincan. Finding such places on such a cold winter day, we realized that there is an essential need especially for the ladies, the elderly and our fellow students. We have voiced these promises before the election, and today we are very pleased that we are very happy with it.

TO BE PLACED IN 6 REGIONS

It will now be located in 6 districts in the center of the city. There is an opinion that it is too early in the areas outside the city center to spread between the neighborhoods so that they cannot be used for different purposes. We have made a 50 square meter stop so far, with a total cost of around 750 thousand TL. We made this mutual agreement with City Lights. City lights made these stops, in return we gave them a certain number of billboards. For this project, there is no budget in the municipal coffers housing.

The students who used the stops expressed their thanks to Mayor Bekir Aksun for this service. On the other hand, it was stated that the air-conditioned stops will be in service between 7 am and 11 am during the day.
