Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, the pioneer of projects that will bring vision to the city, will realize the “Atatürk Park Sea Star” project in the area between Midi Restaurant and Teleferik Sub Station to make the coastline more useful.
The project, which includes the city square, ceremony area, Atatürk square and Atatürk road, indoor and outdoor activity areas, Ordu model exhibition, sales kiosks, restaurants, cafes and paragliding landing area, is aimed to increase the attraction of the city.

Expressing that important investments have been realized in Ordu, which is rapidly progressing towards becoming a tourism city, Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Department of Studies and Projects, Tayfun Özdemir said, “Our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr., in order to increase the alternatives in our city, which is on the way to becoming a tourism city. We started the work with the instructions of Mehmet Hilmi Güler. The Atatürk Park Sea Star project, which we will implement in the area between Mıdı Restaurant and the cable car station, is one of the important investments we will make in this sense. ”

Stating that the project will be implemented with the build - operate - transfer model, Özdemir said, “There are two restaurants on it; Multi-purpose areas with a meeting and recreation area for 1.000 people; The project, which includes cafes, sea pool and stage, will be an important investment that adds value to our Ordu by bringing city people together with the sea. The preliminary project of the study has been completed. In a short time, we will start the works to bring the project to the season by tender the work with the build, operate, transfer model.
