Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which attaches importance to transportation projects for citizens to travel more comfortably, continues its works due to road safety. The Parks and Gardens Department clears tree branches, thorns and other weeds that block the sight of vehicles, especially on the roadsides in rural areas. In this context, cleaning and maintenance work was carried out on the road between Akçakese (Prison) and Araman Village of Kandıra district.
CLEANING WAS MADE ON 30 KILOMETERS
Parks and Gardens Department teams cleaned the roadside in the 30-kilometer part of the Akçakese - Araman Village route. The teams pruned the trees extending to the road, cutting the thorny grasses along the road. In addition, the vines that extended and closed the signs near the road were cut.
HERBS BLOCKING THE VIEWING ANGLE
Tree branches and other grasses located on the roadside turn off the sight of vehicles and make the road lines on the edge invisible. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality also clears these branches and weeds that pose a road safety risk by closing the field of view regularly. Roadside cleaning works are carried out regularly throughout the year, especially on rural roads in Kocaeli.
