The Occupancy Rate of Accommodation Facilities Was 2019 Percent in 53,5

Culture and Tourism Ministry, has announced its 2019 business license and municipal accommodation statistics of certified facilities in Turkey.

In Turkey, January-December period of 2019, the plant develops, increased 12,4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 81 million. The number of overnight stays also increased by 11 percent to 211,3 million.

According to ministry data, the plant occupancy rate, which was 2018 percent in 50,9, was 2019 percent in 53,5.

Of the total establishments in Turkey, the number of arrivals in December 2019 compared to the same period of the facility again rose 27,6 month the previous year and was 4,5 million.

In the last month of the year, the number of overnight stays increased by 26,3 percent to 9,1 million; occupancy rate was 35 percent.

Antalya Is At The Top Again

In Antalya, which was at the top with 2019 percent in 68,3 in terms of facility occupancy rates, arrival to the facility was determined as 23,2 million and the number of overnights was 94,1 million.

While the arrival to the facility in Istanbul was 14,1 million, the number of overnights was 32,2 million, the facility occupancy rate was 60,5 percent.

In 2019, Muğla took the third place in data with 56,3 percent occupancy rate, 4,5 million arrivals and 14,4 million overnights.

In İzmir, 3,4 million people came to the facility, the number of overnights was 7,2 million and the occupancy rate was 51,9 percent.
