In Samsun, university students traveled by reading books on the tram to draw attention to the importance of reading books.
In the tram organized by Ondokuz Mayıs University, I Have a Project, awareness was raised on the importance of reading through the book reading activity. Nearly thirty university students traveled from the Faculty of Education tram stop to Tekkeköy Tram Station to increase the reading rates and encourage the society in this direction.
Giving information about the event, Resul Alperen Yıldız said, “We are a culture and arts community that carries out projects on behalf of social responsibility together with our volunteer friends consisting of our university students. We have held various events before. We read books together with our friends in suburban volunteer for the increase of reading rate in Turkey today. We wanted to encourage people to read books. Our goal is to raise awareness in the community. We have previously carried out projects in Samsun to establish libraries, paint and organize professional workshops in some schools. We had this activity on the beach before. This time we did it in a tram. We traveled from the Faculty of Education Station to Tekkeköy Station by reading books ”.
