Elevator to be constructed on top of Kocaeli D-100

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which has realized many important projects in transportation, continues its works to make pedestrians comfortable in traffic as well as vehicles. Two elevators will be manufactured to the pedestrian overpass located on D-100 Highway in the district of Mimar Sinan Mahallesi in Körfez district. A tender was made by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality for the manufacture of elevators.

DISABLED AND OLD PEOPLE TO MORE COMFORTABLE

The two elevators to be built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which cares about pedestrians to move comfortably in traffic, will be at the north and south legs of the overpass. There will also be a security camera system in elevators, which will ease the crossing of disabled and elderly people. The overpass where the elevator will be manufactured was built in 2006 by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality.

4 COMPANIES PARTICIPATED IN THE TENDER

4 companies submitted bids for the tender for elevator manufacturing. The highest bid was given by Atlas BK İnşaat with 366 thousand 901 TL, while the lowest bid was presented by Ali Sait Aktekin - Aktekin İnşaat with 257 thousand 900 TL.
