Sakarya Mayor Ekrem Yüce, Turkey Wagon Industries Inc. (TÜVASAŞ) General Manager Dr. İlhan Kocaarslan and his delegation came together and decided to cooperate on light rail systems targeted to be built in Sakarya. In addition to Mayor Yüce, Deputy Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, Ali Oktar also participated in the meetings. With the decision taken at the end of the meeting, it was decided to carry out the light rail projects in Sakarya by TÜVASAŞ and Metropolitan Municipality experts in a joint work. Mayor Yüce wishes that the works to be carried out in cooperation will bring good luck to Sakarya and wished the TÜVASAŞ officials the convenience in their work.

We will endeavor to do the best for Sakarya through joint decisions taken as a result of consultations. Examples of Sakarya transportation hope this partnership will make a model in Turkey.
