İBB makes a metro line more active than two years ago. At the ceremony, which will be held on Monday, February 2 with the participation of President Ekrem İmamoğlu, the works will start again in Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro with 3 stations of 12 km.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) accelerated the rail system investments with the instructions of Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu. After the Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli and Ümraniye-Göztepe-Ataşehir subways, the works will start again at the Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro, which was built 2 years ago.
“Kaynarca-Pendik-Tuzla Metro Line Construction Works Restart Ceremony” will be held on Monday, February 3 at 13:00 in Pendik. The ceremony will include İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu, İBB Secretary General Yavuz Erkut and other IMM bureaucrats and executives of contractor companies.
Within the scope of the project, 12 independent metro lines with 8 stations with a total length of about 2 km will be built. The line is planned to be commissioned at the end of 2022.
Line 1: Tavsantepe-Tuzla Line; It is 7,7 km long and has 6 stations.)
Line 2: Pendik Center-Kaynarca Line (Continuation of Tavsantepe-Sabiha Gokcen Airport Line); It is 4,1 km long and has 2 stations.)
