19/1 Street, which connects Mithatpaşa Street to Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard within the scope of culvert renewal works in İZSU, Poligon and Arap streams, will be closed to vehicle traffic for two months starting on Monday, 27 January.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality İZSU General Directorate is initiating a two-month study on 19/1 Street (opposite of Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center), which provides traffic flow to Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard via Mithatpaşa Street. According to the UKOME decision, as of Monday, January 27, 19/1 Street vehicle traffic will be closed for work. Motor vehicle drivers who want to get to Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard from Mithatpaşa Street will be able to use 40/1 Street opposite Güzelyalı Park.

The bus route is also changing

ESHOT General Directorate has also changed the route of some bus lines due to the works.

5, 6, 7, 24, 25 and 480 buses coming from the direction of Narlıdere, Kavacık and Oyun Köyü, the last stop of which is Üçkuyular İskele; Following Fahrettin Altay Square, Martyr Major Ali will reach Üçkuyular Pier using the Official Tufan Street.

The buses numbered 486 and 945, which serve the Oyak Site and Esentepe District, will arrive at Üçkuyular Pier using the Martyr Major Ali's Official Tufan Street following Fahrettin Altay Square.

Bus 510, which operates between Gaziemir and Balçova, will continue on the motorway route by using Martyr Major Ali's Official Tufan Street following Fahrettin Altay Square in the direction of going to Gaziemir.

On the other hand, Cumhuriyet Square - Airport bus number 202 will continue on the route of Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard, following the Fahrettin Altay Square in the direction of going to Cumhuriyet Square, using Şehit Major Ali's Official Tufan Street.

Culverts will be renewed

İZSU General Directorate will renew the culverts in the Polygon and Arabian streams on the grounds that the steel gratings on the road are dangerous for traffic and cause noise pollution. Their teams will dismantle the grids and set the prefabricated beams prepared in advance and will manufacture reinforced concrete.
