Furkan Kuşdemir, Deputy Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, and Hasan Görgülü, Head of Transportation Planning and Traffic Department, who made a presentation about the metro project at the municipal meetings in January, gave information to the members of the Assembly about the roads to be closed throughout the city and the acquisition of Konya.
In the metro project, which is the most important and big public investment in the history of Konya, the works for establishing the main construction site in the area next to the Sports and Convention Center, which was built by the Metropolitan Municipality, continue. The first stage of the subway will be 10 kilometers between Necmettin Erbakan University and Meram Municipality.
