Balikesir Kızıksa Bridge OK: Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz has made his promise. Manyas, Gönen-Kızıksa Yolu Stream Bridge construction on Kocaçay in Manyas District has been completed.

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, which attaches importance to transportation projects in city centers, realizes projects that will ease the transportation of citizens living in rural areas as well as the center, and provide more comfortable and modern transportation services. The Metropolitan Municipality, which carries out the maintenance and repairs of existing roads and bridges as well as road and bridge construction works in all districts, has completed the construction of Manyas, Gönen-Kızıksa Road Stream Bridge, built on Kocaçay in Manyas District.
The 1977-year-old bridge, built in 43 with the support of the people of the region and with the support of the state, was destroyed for reconstruction by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality. The bridge on the alternative road between Çanakkale and Balıkesir, which also shortens the transportation time, and on the road that provides transportation to Manyas and Kızıksa District; It was rebuilt by expanding to 240 meters in length and 11 meters in width. To ensure fast and safe traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians, 1,5 meters wide pedestrian pavement was made on both sides of the expanded bridge. The railing was attached to the sides of the bridge, which has a more modern look than before. On the 500-meter road, including the demolished reconstructed bridge and the entrance and exit, a thousand 110 tons of asphalt pavement was made.
