AK Party Sivas Deputy İsmet Yılmaz said that the cost of the High-speed train, which will serve between Sivas-Ankara, is 13 billion TL.
Stating that the distance between Ankara and Sivas will decrease to 2 hours, Yılmaz said, “I hope that we will see the test drives between Sivas and Ankara at the end of 2020. In 2021, we will start using the High-speed train. The line will continue towards Erzincan, Erzurum and Kars after Sivas. ”
Stating that the high-speed train will add value to Sivas, Deputy Yılmaz said, “The high-speed train will make great contributions to Sivas' economy and development. High Speed Train is one of the biggest investments in the history of the Republic in Sivas. It will continue to Istanbul, Ankara, Sivas and then to Erzincan, Erzurum and Kars. 446 kilometers by road from Sivas to Ankara. The length of this line is 406 kilometers. Transportation between Sivas-Ankara will reduce to 2 hours. It will be 5 hours between Istanbul and Sivas. There is also shortening on the road. It will provide a comfortable and qualified journey.
