TUBITAK MAM and the National Boron Research Institute (BOREN) developed a new domestic car powered by hydrogen fuel and produced 2 units.
The developed vehicle has a hybrid engine, it can travel 300 kilometers with electricity and its range is increased by 150 kilometers with hydrogen fuel.
It uses boron as hydrogen trap in the vehicle. The vehicle, which operates very quietly, has zero emission value and accelerates to 100 kilometers in a very short time. The vehicle is usually powered by an electric motor and uses hydrogen fuel when extra additional range is required.
I congratulate our organizations, TÜBİTAK MAM and National Boron Research Institute (BOREN) and wish them continued success.
