The names of some of those who lost their lives in the train accident in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ on July 8, 2018, where 25 people died and 340 were injured, will be given to the streets and parks in the town of Uzunköprü in Edirne.
According to the statement made by Uzunköprü Municipality, the names of Sena Köse, Özge Nur Dikmen, Gülce Dikmen, Mavi Nur Tifliz, Oğuz Arda Sel and Melek Tuna from 25 people who died in the accident will be given to the streets and parks in the district.
Uzunköprü Mayor Özlem Becan said that after the train disaster, families were always with them and they were common to the sufferings. Becan, after the decision approved by the Municipal Assembly, the pain of our lives lost in the Çorlu train accident is still burning. We have been with our painful families since that dark day and we will be with our families until the end.
