In the beginning of December, the first female drivers started to work in Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, which announced that they would be hired as a female bus driver with the announcement announced in their social media accounts. Meeting with the first female drivers of Eskişehir, Ayse Ünlüce, the Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, stated that women's employment will continue to increase in transportation and other areas.
Announcing that it will employ a female bus driver and a female parkomat attendant with social media announcements, female bus drivers started to work after the parkomats in the Metropolitan Municipality. After the CV evaluations and interviews, female drivers, who went through various trainings, came together with Secretary General Ayşe Ünlüce. Stating that 5 women drivers started to work in the first place, Ayşe Ünlüce stated that they, as Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, attach great importance to women's employment and they want to increase their employment in different areas such as bus driver and parkomat officer in the coming days.
Expressing that they are very happy to start working in Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, female bus drivers stated that they believe that women can do any job whenever possible. Citizens who expressed their pride in seeing female drivers in buses after ESTRAM thanked Metropolitan Municipality for supporting women's employment in all areas.
