The Osmangazi Bridge has its share of the first hikes in 2020 and the tolls have been increased by 14 percent. The 14 percent increase rate was also reflected in the tolls applied on the Osman Gazi Bridge. Passage for passenger cars on the Osmangazi Bridge increased from 103.05 TL to 117.90 TL, and the toll for light commercial vehicles increased from 164.85 TL to 188.65 TL.

With the latest raise to go to Istanbul from Bursa was expensive 20 TL. Previously connected to Osmangazi Bridge from Gebze to Bursa North exit was made by passenger car was paid 136 TL. Now this fee has risen to 156 TL. (Istanbul box office and bridge fees)
About Osmangazi Bridge
Osmangazi Bridge or Izmit Bay Bridge is the fourth longest span suspension bridge in the world, with a middle span of 5 meters and a total length of 1.550 meters, built between Highway Dilovası Dil Burnu and Altınova Hersek Cape in the scope of Highway 2.682.
As part of the Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Highway project, there are 384 kilometers of motorways and 49 kilometers of connection roads, including the Osman Gazi Bridge. The gulf crossing will be reduced from 2 hours to 6 minutes using only the bridge, and the average Istanbul-Izmir journey, which takes an average of 8 hours when the whole project is completed, will decrease to 3,5 hours. The main reason for reducing the travel time is the 95 km shorter distance from the existing state road and the new highway to be used, and the bridge pass, instead of about 1,5 kilometers of roads that take 88 hours by bridge. Since the existing state road passes through many city centers, highway speed rules cannot be applied.
