Since our first day in office, we have implemented important projects under the leadership of our President in line with our targets set by our Government.

Big and strong, many of realized investment projects in Turkey and our goal frame; Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Osmangazi Bridge, Eurasia Tunnel, Istanbul Airport, Marmaray, Baku-Tbilisi Kars Railway line, High Speed Train Lines, divided roads, highways, airports, yachts, such as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure have realized many projects. We have invested over 17 billion Turkish liras in 757 years. In 2019, as in the previous years, we started our important projects. giant projects we have planned for the future of Turkey have given service.

Another giant project in 2020; In other words, we will implement Kanal Istanbul. With this project, we will not only reduce the ship traffic load of the Bosphorus. We will minimize the risks that may occur due to ships carrying dangerous goods in the Bosphorus. We will also have an alternative for ships and tankers who do not want to pass the Bosphorus without waiting. Ships carrying international cargo will be able to use Kanal Istanbul for a fee. They will also get rid of the financial burdens that may occur due to waiting for a week. Especially due to the shift of world trade to the east, the number of ships using the straits will increase significantly in the near future. In fact, the number of ships to use the Bosphorus in 20 years is expected to reach 70 thousand. In short, Kanal Istanbul is not only the project of today but also of tomorrow. Kanal Istanbul is a project that will save the Bosphorus from accidents. 2020 will be the year of Kanal Istanbul.
