In his speech, Minister Turhan stated that they have carried out important works in order to ensure that children with disabilities are more involved in social life and participate in economic life. “As the Ministry, we are making the necessary arrangements for citizens with disabilities to take part in life and make the most of transportation services. We strive to take precautions to help individuals with disabilities travel. ” said.
Pointing out that they are working with a human-centered service approach, especially with the Orange Table service launched in high-speed train travels, Turhan said that they aim to spread these services in other areas. Pointing to the sensitivity of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on this issue, Turhan thanked those who contributed to the service in question.
Turhan stressed that they will develop and maintain the necessary arrangements for taking all kinds of physical and humanitarian aid measures. Minister Turhan, disabled people to take part in social life more free, over the age of 65 offered the possibility of cheap travel reminded.
Stating that railroad trips were organized to promote the beauties in every part of the country, Turhan reminded that the Eastern Express from Ankara to Kars, which was made for transportation purposes, also started for tourism purposes this year. Turhan said that in this context, the citizens had the opportunity to visit the cities and they thought to spread the application to different parts of the country.
