Important steps are being taken to strengthen the logistics sector, which has been in a rapid growth cycle for nearly 10 years. However, the main issues in which the Turkish logistics sector has to show progress are still up to date. Logistics and improving customs procedures, facilitation of transit trade and to receive deserved share of the Turkey in this direction, promoting combined transport, e-commerce development, Turkey Many studies, such as the completion of the Logistics Master Plan study is of great importance for the logistics industry.

In order to strengthen the sector, the needs of the logistics sector should be determined correctly and coordination between the sector and the public administration should be ensured in order to meet the identified needs. It is also of great importance to make legislative arrangements to support and strengthen sector activities. Tariff restrictions, public intervention, and high-cost document fee approaches that would impair the peace and investment environment of the sector and prevent entrepreneurship should be abandoned. Despite his Customs Union Agreement with Turkey's European quotas on the agenda for the carriage of goods subject to trade, visas and lasts criminal practices in large quantities. These negative factors hinder the achievement of expected targets in transportation rates.

Aiming to close 2019 with 180 billion dollars of exports, the Turkish Ministry of Commerce launched the "Paperless Customs Project" in the first quarter of the year to reduce the workload created by foreign trade at customs and to accelerate trade. The Turkish Ministry of Commerce aims to change the way of doing business at customs with 'paperless customs'. Accordingly, the companies whose reliability has been approved will submit their declarations electronically to the customs administrations and will keep them in their offices provided that they are inspected later without providing additional documents. Thus, it is aimed to minimize the workload and waits of foreign trade personnel at customs.

Another important step that will accelerate our foreign trade is the Istanbul Airport's commissioning. Turkey, Istanbul Airport will become one of the largest cargo hubs spot on the globe. In order for Istanbul Airport to have a larger share in the European market, plans should be made to increase and encourage air cargo activities at other airports, and fleet structures and operation areas should be expanded.

Likewise, the opening of BTK will not only strengthen our exports and imports, but will also pave the way for transit trade. Turkey, the memorandum of understanding signed between Azerbaijan and Russia has long been on the agenda in the industry. With this agreement, the volume of transports made over the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars line will increase and this development will give the railway line a commercial momentum. Europe via Turkey, this line connected to the Middle East and Africa at the same time in the country on the ancient Silk Road as a new Silk Road are able to foresee at the time the economy will make a direct contribution.

The biggest advantages of BTK are Mersin, Alsancak, Safiport and Derince Ports. Thanks to these ports, we have immediate access to all the coasts of the Mediterranean basin. We can cite Europe, North and West Africa and of course the Arabian Peninsula as good examples. In addition to this, Turkey's agreement with China will be a great asset to the industry in terms of expanding into new markets. Turkey signed a deal with China's road transport and road transport renewed agreement with Uzbekistan would pass through parliament while the importance of the region is the fact that more increases. In this way, we think that our foreign trade will improve with the number of transportation.
