Steam Locomotives Exhibited at Malatya Train Station Waiting for Visitors; Steam locomotives who retired after serving for many years at TCDD are waiting for visitors. It is stated that the biggest visitors of the nostalgic trains which are converted into museums by taking the rails prepared in Malatya Train Station area are young children. In the Open Museum, there are 1 passenger wagon along with the locomotives on display.
The locomotive, which is called 46000 type of steam locomotives in the TCDD secondary road, has a tender weight of 149 tons and has a length of 22 meters, indicating that it works with steam pressure and that the locomotive speeds up to 80 KM2 per hour.
