Gospel to Istanbulites in the New Year! ; Public transportation vehicles belonging to IMM will provide free services at all religious and official holidays of the year 2020, exam days and school opening. On the first day of the new year, transportation in Istanbul will be free.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council determined the days when free public transportation service will be provided in 12 at its meeting on 2020 December. In line with the decision taken, the first public holiday of 2020, New Year's Day (Wednesday, January 1, 2020), will provide free public transportation services in Istanbul.
Application IETT, BUS AS (Erguvan Buses), Private Public Buses, Metro, Funicular, Tram, Nostalgic Tram, Cable Car, City Lines Ferry, Public Transportation Integrated Private Marine Engines will be available.
In addition, during the year of 2020, all religious and official holidays and exams and public transportation of the IMM will be provided free of charge at the opening of the school. Free service days are as follows:
- January 1, 2020 (New Year)
- 23 April (National Sovereignty and Children's Day)
- May 1 (Labor and Solidarity Day)
- 19 May (Commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports Day)
- 24-25-26 May (Ramadan Feast - 3 Days)
- July 15 (Day of Democracy and Freedoms)
- July 31 - August 3 (Feast of Sacrifice - 4 Days)
- 30th of August Victory Day)
- October 29 Republic Day)
- 2020 School Opening Day (September)
