Bursa Must Be Connected to National Railway Network Immediately; Railway Lovers Association President and former Republican People's Party 22-23th Term Bursa Deputy Kemal Demirel visited Bursa Commodity Exchange President and TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı in his office, together with the association's board of directors.

In the visit, which drew attention to the fact that connecting Bursa to the national railway network is "indispensable" for the city, the benefit of continuing the initiatives to complete the project as soon as possible was discussed.

 BURSA WANT TO TRAIN

Kemal Demirel, President of the Association of Railway Lovers, stated that Bursa's access to railway transportation was constantly delayed and that sufficient resources were not allocated for the project, “It is the right time for the Bursa lobby to take action without any political discrimination and say we want a train to Bursa. According to the information I have received, the experts of this business state that if sufficient funds are given, the train can come to Bursa by the end of 2020. When we said that it will end in 2016, it will end in 2019, we have come to this day. "Now only one year of hard work and allowance is needed for these jobs."

Underlining that Bursa expresses its longing for trains in every platform, Demirel said, “We are not conducting a political work. People of all opinions agree on the advantages that Bursa's access to the railway will provide for this city. We demand that the political will take these demands into account. In this context, we visited our Bursa Commodity Exchange President. He also spoke as a TOBB Board Member.

BURSA SPEED TRAIN PROJECT SHOULD BE COMPLETED

Bursa Commodity Exchange Chairman Özer Matlı stated that Kemal Demirel has been following the high-speed train struggle that has been going on for many years with interest, and said that railway transportation to Bursa is indeed very important. Matlı stated that they will make efforts to bring the demand for the priority completion of the Bursa railway project to the agenda on various platforms in Ankara, especially TOBB, and that creating a comprehensive information note on this issue is also important for understanding the present day of the project and guiding its future.
