The KARDEMİR power plant was commissioned for the first time in 1939 and is a power plant with a total capacity of 77,5 MW, which produces and burns process gases. The capacity of the gas + coal burning part of the power plant is 27,5MW. Electro Static Filters have been made to 3 boiler output in this plant between 2008-2010 years with an investment expenditure of approximately 9,7 Million $. The first of these filters was opened by the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the period.
