President Soyer, who took a helicopter ride from Çeşme to the city tour and then landed on the runway of the association in Buca Kaynaklar, İzmir Deputy Murat Minister who was an aircraft pilot, Ali Enver Bakioğlu, Chairman of the İzmir Aviation Club Association, and board members, Former General of Civil Aviation Deputy Director Oktay Erdağı and representatives of aviation schools in Turkey were welcomed.

After the facility tour, President Soyer held a meeting with the management of the association regarding the activities to be carried out in line with the goal of making İzmir a sports aviation center.
İzmir Civil Aviation Club Association President Enver Bakioğlu explained the activities of the association and said that İzmir is an ideal city to be a sports aviation center due to its weather conditions and easy accessibility.
