İBB Organizes a Rubber Wheeled Public Transport Workshop; “Rubber Wheeled Public Transportation Workshop” is organized to bring permanent and sustainable solutions to transportation problems in Istanbul. At the workshop to be held at Çırpıcı Social Facility on 13 December, the transportation problems of the people of Istanbul will be discussed. IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu will make the evaluation speech of the workshop.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, 17 will be held in December “Istanbul Transport Speaks tem themed before the congress, transport stakeholders will come together. The current situation in the public transportation system, improvement and solution proposals will be discussed.
The workshop aimed at developing common and deep-rooted solutions to transportation problems; bus operators, minibuses, services, taxis, taxi minibus transporters, drivers, vehicle suppliers, technology companies and related cooperatives and non-governmental organizations will participate.
A ACCESSIBLE CITY
The historical, cultural, economic and strategic structure of Istanbul, one of the most important metropolises in the world, has begun to address chronic transportation problems. The workshop will be held to discuss the current situation, problems, suggestions for improvement of the public transport coverage and quality of the public transport vehicles in Istanbul.
COMMON WIND SOLUTION WILL BRING
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Gürsoy will make the opening speech and the roundtable will focus on sectoral problems and solution proposals. At these tables, the expectations and demands of the bus drivers, minibuses, taxis, taxi minibuses, service systems and transport drivers and users working in these areas will be evaluated.
