Ethiopian Transport Minister Visits AKH Railway Construction Site; In Ethiopia, work continues at full speed at the $ 1,7 billion Awash Waldia-Hara Gabaya Railway Project, undertaken by the Turkish firm Yapı Merkezi Holding.
Ethiopian FDC Transport Minister Dagmawit Moges, Amhara Region President Temesgen Tiruneh, Prime Ministry Office Urbanization and Infrastructure Consultant Jantirar Abay, ERC CEO Sentayehu Woldemichael and accompanying delegation, Erhan Cengiz, Project Manager, African Heavy Rail Projects Accompanied to Project Site Management, he visited the AKH construction site.
The team started their visits with the cinevision screening in the General Store building in the Workshop and Depot area, and then made technical examinations in the Workshop building, the CTC building and the control room in the CTC building. After leaving the workshop and vehicles from the Depot area, the Kombolcha Station was passed, and a souvenir photo was taken, and the site visit was ended by visiting Köprü-40, Transformer-6 and Tunnel-7 respectively.
Dagmawit Moges, Temesgen Tiruneh and Jantirar Abay, who signed the memorial book, expressed their happiness for the completion of our project at high standards and as a result of great sacrifices, and noted that they appreciated the entire project team for overcoming the difficulties encountered during its construction.
