Ordu Social Sciences High School prepared a Black Sea Railway Project (KADEP) to present the students to TUBITAK.
Ordu Social Sciences High School Project Consultant Teacher Deniz Demirkan, project students Enes Celik, Kemal Sener and Mehmet Eren Aksu attended the visit.

The students who explained the project; “It is a railway project prepared within the framework of KADEP (Black Sea Railway Project) prepared by the students of Ordu Social Sciences High School within the framework of sustainable development project for the development, welfare and employment of the Black Sea Region. Our project is closely related to all Black Sea provinces between Istanbul and Artvin and will be the main spark in the development of these provinces. Within this project, railways are of two types and will be ointment for this pains of Black Sea in passenger and freight transportation. In the light of scientific researches and articles, it has been determined that 1 km highway construction cost is 8.19 Million $ / km and 1 km high speed train cost is 4.53 Million $ / km. In addition, the annual routine maintenance cost of the 1 km highway was determined as 65.514 TL and the annual routine cost of the 1 km state rail was 13.703 TL at annual unit prices. As a result, railways were found to be three times more costly than motorways. The Black Sea Railway Project will both contribute positively in terms of export and product input and output to all provinces in the Black Sea Region based on the researches given above and will also serve as a Black Sea Express because it will carry passengers. In this respect, we applied to Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry to have information about the Black Sea Region Railway Project. We thank Şükrü Köksal, the Secretary General of the Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce before him, who have provided us with the necessary information and interests.
