Ankara Sivas High Speed Railway Line was First Rail Welding; Mehmet Cahit Turhan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train (YHT) made the line investigations. Minister Cahit Turhan, who evaluated the works in the field of construction, examined the field productions on site and the first weld was put into the rail line here.
During the investigations of Minister Turhan, Kırıkkale Governor Yunus Sezer, Deputy Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu and the authorities were accompanied.
Technical studies between Kırıkkale-Yerköy examined on site welding of machine, precast concrete road and line ferris works and electrification system assemblies on site and route control was carried out by machine over 10 km of newly constructed railway line.
Minister Turhan and his delegation received a briefing from Yerköy construction site from the contractors of all infrastructure, superstructure and electromechanical works working on the Ankara-Sivas YHT line.
Turhan made a statement after the investigations, between Ankara and Sivas, the project will reduce the 2-hour progress in the direction of all the processes of the project and the total investment cost of the project is 9 billion 749 million pounds, he said.
