Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, Estram and Gazi Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School jointly organized within the scope of the social responsibility project of the school students' awareness of the social assistance club on the tram 'Do you read with us?' handed out book with slogan. The students expressed their desire to realize such a project in order to give people the habit of reading books and thanked the Metropolitan Municipality for their support.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has recently undertaken social responsibility projects with various non-governmental organizations and schools, has implemented another project with Gazi Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Students of the social welfare club of the school, 'Do you read with us?' He gave nearly 500 books as a gift to the citizens on the trams. Diler Şentürk, an educator who stated that the society considers reading books as an activity in free time, said,, We wanted to reverse this perception of our people and tell our fellow citizens that even books can be read in public transport. Such a beautiful project emerged with the support of Metropolitan Municipality, ESTRAM, Anadolu University and school administration. I would like to thank my students and supported institutions for their sensitivity. ”
The students who stated that their book reading rates were very low in the country stated that they wanted to do such a project in order to raise awareness. The children then took the trams and distributed nearly 500 books to the citizens.
