Problems Experienced in Public Transport in Van and Its Solutions were Discussed; Van Metropolitan Municipality, Transportation and Coordination Center (UKOME) regular meeting was held.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Edremit District Governor and General Secretary of Van Metropolitan Municipality Muhammet Fuat Türkman.
Deputy Secretary General Ali Özvan, Chairman Advisor Mucip Tapan, Gendarmerie Public Corps Command, Provincial Police Department, Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Transportation 8. Regional Directorate, Highways 11. Regional Directorate, the President of the Chamber of Drivers, Tatvan Port Presidency, Ferit Melen Airport Directorates and representatives of the relevant departments of the municipality attended.
In the meeting where 12 agenda item and 3 sub-commission report were discussed, the purchase of buses for the transportation of tourists coming to Van via Kapikoy Border Gate in Saray district in a more comfortable and safe way, the lack of public transportation in Van Van and the trust and student services in Van important decisions such as increasing comfort was taken to the sub-commission.
