Trial Drives Begin on Samsun Sivas Railway; The biggest EU-Turkey joint project which is reported as 258 million euros in Samsun - Sivas (Bold) after a two-year delay in the railway will begin trial runs in the next week.

The founder of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's Republic of Turkey on September 21, 1924, which first started hitting the digging work, the Samsun-Sivas, 378 kilometers (Thick) of the railway line was completed on September 30, 1931. WILL SHORT TIME?

It is also discussed whether the transportation will be shortened by opening the Samsun - Sivas railway line. The first explanations were that the train speed would increase from 50 kilometers per hour to 80 kilometers and the duration would decrease from 10 hours to 5 hours and 30 minutes. Experts who stated that the road, which passes through mountainous terrain such as Karadağ and Çamlıbel and has 37 tunnels on it, did not change the route seriously and only the infrastructure was improved and said, “The railway is not like a highway. Depending on the road holding ability of the vehicle on the highway, you can enter the bends more quickly than determined. It is risky, you may not be driven away, but there is no such thing in railways. God bless you with a speed of two kilometers or more. Therefore, increasing the speed of the trains does not mean that the time is shorter. ”
