In this context, teams affiliated with the Department of Science Affairs completed the intersection of Fevzi Çakmak, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Streets and Gelincik Street intersection. While the new intersection has relaxed the traffic of Şeker Pınarı village, Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and Fevzi Çakmak streets have been connected more quickly and comfortably. In addition, the heavy traffic on Fevzi Çakmak Street has become regular and controlled.

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues its road maintenance, repair and renovation works in the city.
