National YHT Sets should be produced in Eskişehir; EOSB Chairman Nadir Küpeli visited TÜLOMSAŞ General Manager Hayri Avcı and said that high speed train sets should be produced in Eskişehir.
Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone (EOSB) Chairman Nadir Küpeli, Vice Chairman Metin Saraç, Board Member Hamza Tınas and Regional Manager Erhan Tatar; Turkey Locomotive and Engine Industry Inc. (TÜLOMSAŞ) General Manager Hayri Avcı in his office. Mayor Küpeli stated that high speed train sets should be produced in Eskişehir and said: ÜL TÜLOMSAŞ is very successful. In particular, the momentum achieved in the last 10 years should not be lost. High speed train sets must be produced by TÜLOMSAŞ. Organized industrial zone and TÜLOMSAŞ what concrete steps should be taken in order to produce these sets in our city, and what should be done on them. At this point we see your sincere efforts. In the following process, we are with you on every platform in both Ankara and Eskişehir. We are ready to use the facilities provided by law. We are always with you to produce these sets by TULOMSAS in Eskisehir. We have only one desire to the city; Let the investment come to this country. Producing sets in Eskişehir will benefit everyone from 7 to 70. ”
We are the ideal institution for YHT production
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Manager Avcı gave information about the works carried out by TÜLOMSAŞ and said, “TÜLOMSAŞ has successfully implemented numerous projects with its knowledge. We have completed the production of national and domestic Diesel Electric Maneuver Locomotives. We started the first national and domestic Electric Outline Locomotive E5000 Project with TSI Certificate. With the production of this locomotive, our country will now have its own TÜLOMSAŞ locomotive, and I hope we will meet our locomotive with rails in 2020. We have completed the production of Hybrid Maneuver Locomotive, which we entered among the few countries in the world upon entering the commercial service. We started the Digital Transformation studies, which are on the agenda of the world, to monitor the current and future technologies in the Rail Systems sector. Projects such as the development of TÜLOMSAŞ Locomotive Monitoring System are currently being carried out. The most suitable platform for YHT production in the world are organizations with locomotive production experience. It is seen that YHT manufacturers have previously produced locomotives with a similar platform. Since TÜLOMSAŞ is the only locomotive manufacturer company of our country, it is an ideal institution for YHT production. Numerous joint projects have been successfully accomplished and commercialized with both domestic and foreign companies with the experience gained by TÜLOMSAŞ until today. ”
Our infrastructure is ready
As TÜLOMSAŞ, Avcı said that their infrastructure is ready to produce high speed train sets and said, Avcı We are actively conducting R & D and Innovation activities with our expert and qualified work force. We are the first R & D center established in the public sector. We have the necessary infrastructure to produce high-speed train sets in terms of our qualified personnel, continuity and R & D activities. The visit also exchanged views on the benefits of the railway connection road between Hasanbey Logistics Center and the organized industrial zone both for OIZ and TÜLOMSAŞ.
