Modern Çetin Emeç Overpass Opened to Citizen Use; In addition to vehicles in traffic in the pedestrians in a comfortable way that allows Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, the city has gained a new and modern pedestrian overpass.
The new Çetin Emeç Overpass Bridge located in the Yenidoğan neighborhood of the İzmit district will be completed with the finest detail construction and landscaping. In line with the works of the Department of Science Affairs, the new and modern bridge, which has been completed in the manufacturing of elevators and façade cladding, was opened to the use of citizens. During the construction of the new bridge, the old bridge, which was kept open to prevent citizens from crossing the street, was removed by teams at night.
ELEVATORS WORK
In the district of Izmit Yenidogan Çetin Emeç Overpass Bridge main body and staircase floors were made of non-slip tartan runway. Within the framework of the project, the railing of the overpass was completed and lighting poles were erected on the overpass. The new Çetin Emeç Overpass was built 39 meters long. 80 tons of steel, 15 tons of reinforcing steel and 115 cubic meters of concrete were used for overpass production. The lifts on both legs of the bridge were offered to the citizens in working condition. Citizens living in the region and frequently using the Çetin Emeç Overpass welcome the construction of the new overpass.
