For the first time in our country in railway projects, within the scope of TUBITAK 1007 Program, in order to nationalize the signaling systems obtained from abroad; TCDD, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and İTÜ National Railway Signalization Project (UDSP) have been successfully completed and prototype work has been completed and commissioned at Mithatpaşa (Adapazarı) station.
Within the scope of the project, three main components were developed, namely the interlocking system (signaling system decision center), traffic control center and hardware simulator, which is considered the most important element of the signaling systems.
It is aimed to expand the National Railway Signaling System throughout the country, and production works are continuing in the national signaling between Afyon-Denizli-Isparta/Burdur and Denizli-Partners. With the completion of this line, for the first time, a signal project with a national design and design will be carried out on a main line segment in our network.
In project scope; Horsunlu Buharkent stations on the Denizli-Ortaklar line were commissioned. National signal interlocking systems are carried out by TUBITAK, and roadside signaling works are carried out by TCDD.
