Konya's Emektar Tramways Carry Bosnians; The trams, which were carried out in Konya in 1992 and brought from Germany, were sent to Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital Saray, Bosnia with the decision taken during the time of Tahir Akyürek.
After the training of the vats in Konya was completed and all the tests were carried out, on 28 September 1992, the public enterprise started free of charge in the 10,5 km section between Alaaddin and Cumhuriyet, and then it started to be paid business.
With the interest in the rail system, 16 additional trams were purchased during the 1995-96 years to meet the intense demands for the rail system that initially served with the 25 trams.
By 2001, 26 more trams were purchased from Germany and the fleet was expanded. Thus, Konya's tram fleet increased to 51 units.
Later, the trams in Konya were completely renewed, considering that the needs of the population were not met and also on the grounds that they did not adapt to the climate of Konya.
With the renewal process, a total of 12 tramways, 72 of which are non-cattle, were brought to Konya from the German Skoda company.
The veteran trams of the cove carry the bosnals, and the trams that are gifted from Konya to Saray Bosnia both strengthened the bridges of brotherhood between the two cities and also caused a sense of Konya breeze in Saray Bosnia streets.
