Two Trains Collide in Bangladesh: 15 Dead, 58 Injured; 03.00 people were killed and 15 injured as a result of a passenger train departing from the city of Chittagong in the Brahmanbaria region of eastern Dhaka, at 58:XNUMX am local time last night in Bangladesh.

The train moving from Sylhet to Chittagong passed the train station in the town of Kosba and proceeded to the Mondovag station. Another passenger train from Chittagong to Dhaka was also on the move to Mondovag station. The control desk was asked to pass the train on the other rail and stop there. However, the train from Chittagong did not comply with the instruction. Minutes later, the train from Chittagong collided with the train from Sylhet.

Number of Dead May Increase

After the accident, 15 people were killed and at least 58 people were injured. Wounded passengers were taken to Kosba Hospital, relatives of casualties in tears in the region waited for good news from officials in minutes. Bangladesh Railways said the number of dead could increase.

Regional police chief Anisur Rahman reported an investigation into the accident.
