Improvements are Made in Disabled Transportation Services; In the second step of the “Let's Listen to Our Children, Change Their Lives” project, carried out within the scope of the goal of “transportation without disability, tourism without obstacles”, Minister Turhan participated in the ceremony of farewell to 20 people with special needs from Ankara to Eskişehir.

In his speech, Turhan pointed out that it is important to establish the transportation and communication services infrastructure in the country so that all segments of the society can benefit, “In this sense, this project for the participation of disabled people in social life and their freedom to travel is very meaningful.” he spoke.

Emphasizing that they are very happy that they give this opportunity to children with disabilities who will go from Ankara to Eskişehir with YHT, Turhan said that this program is a beginning.

The promise to travel by plane after YHT

Turhan, everyone is a disabled candidate, life is not clear when, how to confront people, it is unclear, said:

“We are working on infrastructure improvement with the projects we have developed to provide disabled people with ease in air, land and railways. Our goal is to serve our people, every part of our society. People may be born with a disability and become disabled later. We strive to provide this service so that every segment of the society contributes to social and economic life and is in life. You also provide support for their implementation. I thank everyone who contributed to the project. ”

Turhan informed that the children will visit the airport in Eskişehir, ride horses and leave beautiful memories, and promised that the next trip will be made by plane.

Minister Turhan, after his speech, TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun, TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ General Manager Kamuran Yazıcı, Halkbank General Manager Osman Arslan, Ankara University Rector. Dr. Erkan İbiş and his accompanying people sent farewell to 20 people with special needs at the Saray Barrier-free Living Center of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services.
