90 thousand saplings were brought together with soil with the slogan 'Breath to the Future' in Aksaray; Minister Turhan, who attended the ceremony held at the Ankara-Kırşehir-Aksaray-Niğde Motorway Alayhan Junction within the framework of the campaign implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, stated that they continue to work on this highway constructed by build-operate-transfer method.

Turhan stated that they would take the project into service next year and said:

“So a year before its normal time. A huge 330 km project. There is an investment cost of 1,5 billion euros. When this project goes into service, Ankara-Adana will be shortened by 30 kilometers. With the services we provide in every corner of our country, we continue to shorten distances, make the difficult easy, and make faces smile. Today, we participate in the mobilization of 11 million saplings planted throughout our country with 90 thousand saplings in Aksaray. As the Ministry, we also contributed by planting 2,5 million trees on the Ankara-Niğde Highway route. We don't just make the road, we also give life water to the nature. Because we are aware that a green and vibrant nature is our most important legacy that we will leave to our future generations. We approach all plans and projects with this sensitivity and give special precautions for the protection of nature. ”

In this sense, Turhan stated that they have taken all kinds of environmental cleaning measures in the construction areas and that they have planted trees in layers instead of every tree that has been cut for necessary reasons.

After the speeches, the program ended with Turhan and his associates planting saplings and watering them.
