Making a statement about the train station, which was rumored to be closed, Derbent Neighborhood Headman Erdal Baş stated that the station will start operating in late October or early November. Although we passed the middle of October, it was not yet clear whether the station would open.

The historical station, which started to serve since the years of 1800, was shut down in 2014 due to YHT studies and could not serve. After the completion of the High Speed ​​Train (YHT) project, the station started to operate again and this time the 16 log was closed for signaling work and improvement, but could not be opened at the desired date in the intervening time. Regarding the issue, Erdal Baş and Derbent residents, who are organizing press releases, are trying to solve their grievances.
