Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality gave rescue training to its personnel against possible elevator failures in institutions and organizations. Citizens staying in elevators who fail due to different reasons, especially power cuts, will now be rescued by trained personnel.

30 STAFF RECEIVED TRAINING

In the training given by Building Control Department, Energy Lighting and Mechanical Works Directorate, information was given about elevator types, elevator cabin exit and bottom well landing procedures. Relevant 30 personnel from the Fire and Police Departments participated in the training. Training personnel, training certificate will be given.

RESCUE PROCESS ACCORDING TO LIFT TYPES

The most important subject of the theoretical training held in the Metropolitan Municipality Civil Society Center is the process of rescuing the person staying in the elevator according to the type of elevator. Information was conveyed to the personnel via 3 type elevator type, with machine room, without machine room and hydraulic. During the rescue, important issues were explained in chronological order.

APPLIED EDUCATION IN BRIDGE ELEVATOR

After the theoretical training, practical information was also presented at the İzmit Bülent Ecevit Overpass elevator in order to gain experience for the personnel concerned. In the practical training, first and foremost how to intervene on the panel was explained in order to save the people in the elevator. Afterwards, the rules for opening the elevator car door and the entrance to the car were shown.
