The produced hybrid engines will be exported to China, Spain and the UK. The good thing is that many products to be used in production will be supplied by our local industrialists. Therefore, we are talking about an exemplary investment with high added value that directly serves our localization goals, exports and qualified employment. ” he spoke.

In fact, even the density we live today clearly shows how dynamic and productive Bursa is. The 9 billion dollar export volume you showed in 11 months of the year is another reflection of your productivity. When we look at the sub-items, we see that Bursa has an industrial infrastructure capable of exporting in almost every sector. Of course, the support we provided in the development of this infrastructure has contributed greatly. To date, we have encouraged 40 billion lira fixed investment in Bursa and have provided employment for over 50 thousand citizens. 27 SMEs benefit from KOSGEB in areas such as entrepreneurship, R&D, R&D and financing.

Another distinctive feature of Bursa is its predisposition to innovation. There are 128 R&D centers in our city, which takes Bursa to the second place in the country after Istanbul. As a matter of fact, it is not a coincidence that the share of medium and high technology products in Bursa's exports is over 2 percent.

You know, we are going through a very fast era of technological transformation. Our industry needs to be prepared for this. For this purpose, we opened our second model factory in Bursa in March after Ankara. As the Ministry, we contributed 4 million liras here. Our industrialists regularly attend lean applications and digital competencies training here. With the use of robots in the production line, digital interaction between machines and internet of things, we aim to bring the model factory to a structure that provides further training and consultancy.

The first one is high technology and innovation. Our aim here is to make our country a competitive structure in critical technologies and to become an important player in the global league. With digital transformation in the industry, we will take concrete steps for technology-based industrialization. With the policies we will implement in the field of entrepreneurship, we will increase the number of entrepreneurs and strengthen the ecosystem in the entire process from idea to product. ” he spoke.
