IETT denied the news that some of the internet sites have been purchased without a tender. İETT announced that the tender was reduced from 175 vehicle to 140 vehicle and 5 saved half million in 5 annual process.
It was said in a written statement made by IETT; ”Today (15.10.2019), some of the websites published the news that do not reflect the truth that a tender-free vehicle was purchased.
The tender for 175 vehicles was completed on 31.08.2019 and 35 vehicles, which were considered to be excessive as a result of the savings made, were not placed in the new tender and the tender was organized as 140 vehicles. The cost of these 5 vehicles in a 35-year period is 5.407. It is 500 TL and this figure has been returned to Istanbul residents as savings. We inform our people of Istanbul that they are not respected for the news that are intended to defame our institution and to mislead our people. ”
