The opening of a series of projects completed in Kayseri was carried out by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure M. Cahit Turhan, Presidential High Advisory Board members Bülent Arınç and Yıldırım Akbulut and General Director of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu attended the opening ceremony.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, President Erdoğan gave information about the projects and mentioned that the openings were carried out collectively due to the high number of investments and services. Erdogan said that they have opened 1 projects completed in Kayseri with a total investment cost of 798 quadrillion and 139 trillion, Derevenk Viaduct, Mimar Sinan Organized Industrial Zone Köprülü Junction, İncesu-Himmetdede-Kayseri Road and Bünyan Köprülü Junction in total 419 million liras. stated that there are investments. Noting that they have invested 17 million Turkish liras in total in the last 27 years, Erdogan said that they will complete the Develi West and North Ring Road, which are among the ongoing and upcoming investments, next year, as well as the connection between Niğde Motorway and Ürgüp-Niğde Road Separation. He said that the Boğazlıyan Felahiye Yolu will also be completed next year.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure M. Cahit Turhan gave information about the investments made by the institutions operating in the field of transportation within the Ministries in Kayseri.
With the completion of the Boğazköprü and Connection Road Project, which was opened in Kayseri and realized by the General Directorate of Highways; Safe and comfortable transportation facilities were established for road users by preventing the deterioration and cracking that may occur under heavy traffic loads. In addition, with the most appropriate technical and economic solutions, new construction works that could occur in the long term and cause financial burdens were prevented.

With the commissioning of Derevenk Viaduct, one of the important crossing points of Kayseri South Ring Road, a safe flow of transit traffic and a quality transportation link with the surrounding provinces were provided.
South Ring Road Project; It provides transit transportation between Nevşehir, Niğde, Aksaray in the west of Kayseri and Malatya and Kahramanmaraş provinces in the east without entering the city traffic. With the commissioning of the project, the connection of Kayseri and Talas district with the east was provided by the shortest route with high standard, while Pınarbaşı-Talas was shortened by 3 km. With the increase of the geometric and physical features of the road, the travel time was reduced by 20 minutes, the exhaust emissions of the vehicles to the environment were reduced, and maintenance, operation, fuel and depreciation expenses were saved, contributing to the national economy.
