The factory of Vossloh Locomotive operating in Kiel was completed in March 2018. With all the locomotives produced, including the small and medium-sized maneuvering vehicles produced at this factory, the Locomotive part of Vossloh was transferred to the Chinese CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. In 2015, railway services were handed over to Stadler and electrical systems division was handed over to Knorr-Bremse.
With the acquisition of the Chinese giant locomotive and rail system vehicles, the company entered the European railway market.
