Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues to provide services that will breathe and bring comfort to transportation throughout the city. Metropolitan teams continue to work in the section of the Akçaray Tram Line that will be extended to the Kuruçeşme region. The teams of the Department of Science Works pour the rail concretes of the second part in line with the tram works.

PART TWO RAIL CONCRETE SPILLS

In the second part, Akçaray tram line, which will continue to the Beach Road from the Education Campus region, is made of rail slabs and concrete castings. The teams, which continue their work intensively, are constructing 600 meter rail line in the second part. In addition, a station will be built in the second section of 600 meters. Approximately 140 tons of corrugated rails and thousand 600 cubic meters of concrete are used in the construction of the second part tram line.

NEW WAYS CREATED

Demolishing the old underpass at the Mevlana Junction, the Metropolitan Municipality built a new underpass through which tram cars could pass and offered it to the citizens. New side roads were created in the direction of Istanbul and Ankara at Mevlana Junction.

SECOND SECTION OF SEKAPARK - KURUÇEŞME LINE

The Tram rail system, which is approximately 2 thousand 140 meters long, located between Sekapark and Beach Road, contains 4 stations in total. A total of 8 thousand 640 meters long and 500 tons of corrugated rails are manufactured along the line. In the second part, the displacement of the infrastructure lines and the construction of new lines, the construction of the new underpass, the construction of 650 meters long side road, the pavement along the tram line, the station structures, the line-road lighting and traffic signalization works are carried out. The first part between Sekapark - Education Campus in Sekapark - Kuruçeşme Tram Line was completed before and offered to the citizens. In the second part, the laying of the rails is done.
