Amendment was made to the determination of the conditions regarding the transfer, submission and completion of the Urban Rail Transportation Systems, Metros and Related Facilities by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
Accordingly, the construction of Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) -Darıca Coast Rail System Line in Kocaeli was included within the scope of urban rail systems to be undertaken by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
The President's Decision on the issue was published in the Official Gazette; "The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will be authorized for the works and procedures required for the construction of Gebze OSB-Darica Coastal Rail System Line, which belongs to Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality."
