Public transport stops on the street to pick up and drop passengers, causing traffic density. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is constructing new mobile stops to reduce this density and ensure that public transport vehicles can easily pick up and drop passengers. FIRST MOBILE STOP OPENED TO TRAFFIC

Adnan Menderes Bridge on Salim Dervişoğlu Street next to the foot of the public transport station built for the first mobile traffic was opened. The 190 meter-long pocket with dual lane and turnout has relieved traffic flow from day one. In particular, the bus station, where the passenger landed and boarded, is made intensively, provides safer transportation to pedestrians.

MODERN STOPS

Citizen comfort was also considered at the new mobile stop that opened to traffic. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality teams were installed smart stops suitable for new pockets. The modern stall body and seating areas are made of stainless chrome. Modern stalls with showcase clp area, glass covered at the back and sides, include passenger information apparatus. The smart card with a USB charging unit for smartphones, tablets and wheelchairs for the disabled includes a Kent Card display and a screen to inform bus schedules.

MOBILE STOPS WILL BE BUILDED IN TWO STANDS

Following the public stop mobile stop opened to traffic, next to the Sabancı Cultural Center, Mimar Sinan and Turgut Özal Bridges in front of the Kocaeli Fair will be built next to the mobile stops. Both lanes will have a single lane and 90 meter lengths will ease traffic on Salim Dervişoğlu Street.
